In another distinct health and wellbeing initiative for Lake Treeby, select corner verges will be landscaped into parklets. Our parklets have been specifically designed for a multi-functional purpose, including:
- adding beauty and green space to the streetscape
- encouraging community interaction
- assisting with traffic calming and resident safety.
Landscaped Parklets at Lake Treeby
Each parklet will be different, creating beautiful landscaped spaces for the community to use and enjoy. Park benches, bird baths, herb gardens and community street libraries will feature in these mini parks. The imagery show examples that will be implemented at Lake Treeby.
Construction Update
Construction to deliver the vision of Lake Treeby is well underway. Earthworks have already been completed as part of a forward works contract and civil construction works have already commenced on site.
Primary Services
The initial works include trenching and laying pipes and cables for underground services such as water, wastewater, stormwater, gas, power and NBN.
New Year Construction
Construction of retaining walls will commence on site early in the new year. Roadworks will begin in a few months time when the service trenches have been backfilled.
Lake Construction Update
The Lake retaining walls and moss rock boulders around the lake edge are currently in progress as part of the civil works.
The landscaping works, including boardwalks and paths surrounding the lake, will commence immediately thereafter.
Land Titles
Following Covid-19 and huge land demand with the Government grants, the industry has faced labour and building material shortages, as well as lengthy delays in approvals. With more certainty, we now expect that Lake Treeby land titles will be issued in September 2022.
