Schools
Lake Treeby includes a dedicated site for a future Primary School and the Labour Government announced as an election promise that this school will be funded to open in 2028. In the meantime, Treeby Primary School is located within 2-3 kms of Lake Treeby.
Piara Waters High School is a new state of the art secondary school, which opened in 2023. It currently caters for years 7, 8 and 9, with year 10 being offered in 2026.

Lake Treeby is close to multiple universities and TAFE colleges in the south metropolitan area of Perth.

PIara Waters Senior High School
The facilities include a commercial kitchen, wood and metal workshops, science laboratories, sports hall, library, art facilities and textiles room. Piara Waters Senior High School currently caters for Years 7 to 9 and had 560 students in 2025 and will keep adding a year group annually until the school reaches 800 students across years 7 to 12 by 2028. Lake Treeby is within the local intake area of this school.
